About

(Updated March 6, 2012) Kiah (semi-flashy fawn) was adopted from Green Acres Boxer Rescue in May of 2007 at almost 9 months old, she is my first Boxer. Keegan (brindle) was adopted from Underdog Rescue in March of 2008, his age was estimated to be just under 2 years old.

Kiah and I started agility training in late summer 2008 and started doing agility trials in March of 2009 (really started her too early as neither of us were ready). It is now a little less than 3 years later and we are still in Novice. Kiah had one Q in 24" but switched her to Preferred so she could jump 20". She now has 1 Q (as of February 2012) in each venue (Standard, JWW, FAST) in Preferred. We took private obedience classes last spring and are continuing to take agility classes; I feel that we are making some progress and beginning to become a team.

Keegan took a while to settle in (separation anxiety and really didn't know how to play) so we have just recently started beginning agility classes. I am going to take my time with him and do it right this time even though he is now almost 6 years old. We may do some AKC and NADAC trials this spring but plan to take it slowly.
